Big Horn Basin Ethanol, LLC
KL Process Design Group is contracted
to provide engineering design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction
services and plant management to Big Horn Basin Ethanol. Big Horn Basin Ethanol,
LLC was formed for the purpose of building, owning and operating a 20
million-gallon per year fuel ethanol plant in Greybull, Wyoming (located in the
Big Horn Basin in north central Wyoming). Once financing is secured, KL will
begin site work and construction. Once operational, Big Horn Basin Ethanol will
process 7.5 million bushels per year and produce: 20 million gallons of ethanol;
47,000 tons of dry distiller’s; and 40,000 tons of wet distiller’s grains.

There are several factors related to the Big Horn Basin Ethanol business that
will enable it to compete effectively in the fuel ethanol production industry.
These include:
1) A plant location known for an abundant and inexpensive source of coal to fuel
the plant.
2) Rail siding on the BNSF Railroad for the receipt of unit train corn
deliveries.
3) Excellent relationships with area producers for future corn.
4) Strong support from the city, county, and the State of Wyoming.
