KL Process Design Group was contracted to provide engineering, procurement, construction services and plant management for this brownfield project located in Sutherland, Nebraska. MRE plant nameplate at the beginning of this project was 14 MGY. Work began in late 2003. KL developed the re-engineering and debottlenecking plan. The plan included resizing, restoring or replacing identified critical equipment, pumps, and control systems.
Today, KL continues to
provide plant management services and MRE operates at 27 MGY.
